In particular, the sport of oval ball is beloved in the south of the country, especially in the areas of Nice, Marseille and Toulouse.

Rugby is one of the most appreciated and practiced sports in the world. After hosting the Rugby World Cup in 2007, France is gearing up to receive the new edition in 2023!
The event will take place from Sept. 8 to Oct. 28, 2023, and will involve all of France, starting with the 10 cities that will host the matches: Lille, Saint-Etienne, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Nantes, Paris, and Saint-Denis.
