– The first feature competition, which awards the best documentary film by a first or second-time director from among some ten works selected by an international jury.
– The CNAP (Centre national des arts plastiques) competition, which rewards the best documentary film that explores the relationship between cinema and the visual arts from among a dozen works selected by an international jury.
– The Écrans Parallèles section, which offers a series of thematic or geographic focuses on rare or recent documentary films.
– The Vidéothèque Bis section, which offers audiences the opportunity to view a selection of documentary films presented in previous editions of the festival free of charge.
