A day exploring the sights of Provence, from the Bay of Cannes to the Provencal villages of Grasse and Gourdon, Tourrettes sur Loup, and Saint Paul de Vence.
EXCURSION PROGRAM
- To get to the sights of Provence, we start in Cannes, a beautiful city on the French Riviera, for a walk on the famous Croisette. Every year this street features movie stars. It is framed by luxury boutiques and grand hotels.
- We then continue inland along the Loup River valley, with the famous sheer gorges (Gorges du Loup), and then the picturesque medieval villages of Gourdoneof Tourrettes sur Loup.
- You will arrive in Grasse, the perfume capital, where you can visit the International Perfumery Museum, which traces the century-long history of French master perfumers, or visit one of the modern perfume factories, where you can also shop in the manufacturer’s store.
- The visit will close in Paul de Vence, a delightful medieval village that has become a thriving community of artists: painters, sculptors and craftsmen.
