During <strong>Christmas<\/strong>, Aubagne is enlivened by fairs, markets of crib figurines, events, and shows all in the pure tradition of Provence.<br \/>The most important event is the <strong>Santon Fair<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aubagne.fr\/agenda-133\/marche-aux-santons-et-a-la-ceramique-3617.html?cHash=0f86e6978dd633766f67aa0eba1a1208\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(March\u00e9 aux Santons et \u00e0 la C\u00e9ramique<\/a>). This fair takes place along the <strong>cours Mar\u00e9chal Foch<\/strong> in the heart of Aubagne&#8217;s historic center. The event is dedicated to ceramics and specifically to Nativity figurines: the <strong>Santons de Provence<\/strong>. Local artisans-the santonniers-exhibit their small masterpieces of decorated clay. The fair hosts more than a score of stalls dedicated to the art of the village of Aubagne.
