Non a caso, il suo nome deriva dalla parola occitana \\\"tapenas\\\" che significa appunto \\\"capperi\\\".\\nIn Provenza, ci sono eventi riguardanti l'oliva. Il pi\u00f9 noto \u00e8 il Festival dell'Ulivo di Ollioules, che si svolge i primi di ottobre. In addition, there are lovely attached stores where you can buy everything.<br \/>Olive oil, Provence&#8217;s culinary heritage, is made from the olive. The perfect place to discover this culture and know-how from the dawn of time is the <strong>olive oil museum at the Domaine de la Roy\u00e8re<\/strong>, in <strong>Opp\u00e8de<\/strong>, where you walk through the eras, the objects and tools, and especially the art of the olive grower to create the fragrant and tasty olive oils.<br \/>In addition to oil, the<strong>olive of Provence<\/strong> is used in the preparation of a typical dish of the region, namely <strong>tapenade<\/strong>.<br \/>Tapenade consists of finely chopped olive puree, salted anchovies, garlic, olive oil and capers. Not surprisingly, its name comes from the Occitan word &#8220;tapenas,&#8221; which means precisely &#8220;capers.&#8221;   <br \/>In Provence, there are events concerning the olive. The best known is the <strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ollioules.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ollioules<\/a> Olive Festival<\/strong>, which takes place in early October. Other events dedicated to oil are the annual festivals in <strong>Mouri\u00e8s<\/strong> and <strong>Aix-en-Provence<\/strong>.
