Program<\/h3>\n

Day 1: Avignon
Avignon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historic center, will take you through the history of what was the capital of the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages. Also called “the city of the Popes,” you cannot miss a visit to the Palais des Papes, the largest Gothic palace in the world, which stands just across the street from Avignon Cathedral. Passing through the gardens des Doms you can go to the Museum of the small palace, after which, crossing the city walls you can admire the Saint Benezet Bridge, also known as the Pont d’Avignon. <\/p>\n

Day 2: Aix-en-provence
In the morning transfer to Aix-en-Provence (1:15h – 85 km approx.). In the most elegant city in Provence you will have the opportunity to visit two perfume factories. Enjoy a stroll through the historic center of Aix, and if you wish you can indulge in art at the Caumont Art Centre or the Vasarely Foundation. <\/p>\n

Day 3: Marseille
Transfer to Marseille (40 min – 35 km approx.). The city tour of Marseille starts from the seafront, more precisely from the Le Panier district, where the majestic Cathedral is located. A visit to Notre Dame de la Garde is highly recommended, where you will enjoy a fascinating view of the city. Be tempted by the city streets and stores where you can buy the world-famous Marseille soap. <\/p>\n
