The Luberon Regional Nature Park is a true paradise for cyclists. On the natural side, on the other hand, we cross green plains bordered by vines, olive trees, and flowering lavender. <\/p>\n

Unadulterated, open to vast spaces and swept by the winds, the Camargue Regional Nature Park lends itself wonderfully to bicycle rides. It is also the end point of the ViaRh\u00f4na, an 815-kilometer bike path that connects Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean. Taking the Digue to the sea, you can observe the coast and many species of seabirds: gulls, terns, gulls, herons or flamingos.
It is a unique site that you will discover at the pace of pedaling, wandering without great difficulty. You’ll walk along ponds, marshes and salt marshes and enjoy an impromptu sunbathe on Napoleon Beach, more than 10 kilometers long.
The Camargue is also a prestigious cultural heritage site, in the image of the city of Arles, whose arena and amphitheater proudly recall the Roman period.

Here beautiful bicycle rides through landscapes of vineyards, orchards, green oak forests and lavender fields are accessible to all. Discover the charming villages of the Alpilles, such as Les-Baux-de-Provence, Eygali\u00e8res, and Tarascon, where you can taste the delicious olive oil from the Baux Valley, distinguished by a COA.
This unique territory, sculpted by nature, is home to the Alpilles massif (named after the “little Alps”). This 30-kilometer-long limestone block is the result of the deformation of the Pyrenees and the Alps. There you can observe the prodigious results on the surrounding rocks along your bike rides through hills, rocks, forests, brushwood and canals.
Then follows the not-to-be-missed Tarascona, and a visit to its fortress. And that’s just as well, since this village is also the crossing point of two essential cycling routes: the Mediterranean Cycling Route and the ViaRh\u00f4na.
Cycling in Provence offers you a 39-kilometer loop, ideal for families. You pass through Proven\u00e7al villages such as Graveson or Maillane before reaching Saint-R\u00e9my-de-Provence, capital of the Alpilles. There, take time to visit the archaeological site of Glanum and its impressive Roman remains. The town of Saint-R\u00e9my-de-Provence was also a place of inspiration for the famous Vincent van Gogh, who stayed there between 1889 and 1890. There, he drew nearly 150 paintings. <\/p>\n

The Champsaur Valley is a glacial valley crossed by the tumultuous Drac, the tributary of the Is\u00e8re River. Located in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes and Ecrins National Park, it offers landscapes in which one can read the agricultural past on the mountainside. The bocage, with its mix of beech hedges, meadows and forests, is home to a rich biodiversity. As well as a multitude of birds. You may see golden eagles, griffon vultures, or even little owls, nesting in the woods. <\/p>\n

From the village of Caille, marked by its agricultural past, enjoy the 6.5-kilometer fully traced circuit. This short route takes you into the heart of the biological reserve and invites you to discover its fauna, flora and rural life.

Browse some 30 AOC C\u00f4tes-du-Rh\u00f4ne vineyards: Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape, Beaumes-de-Venise, Vacqueyras, Gigondas, Cairanne, Rasteau, Vinsobres. This loop is connected to the ViaRh\u00f4na and takes the Via Venaissia, but other routes for the more athletic also allow the adventure to be extended to medieval villages or around Mont Ventoux. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lovers of nature and beautiful landscapes, discover the Proven\u00e7al biodiversity of the Alpilles and Rhone delta by bicycle.
