L'evento \u00e8 dedicato ai \\\"Santons\\\", statuine del presepe, originarie di Aubagne, usate per raccontare la storia della Nativit\u00e0.\\nLe origini della fiera risalgono al periodo subito dopo la Rivoluzione Francese, quando le chiese furono chiuse e furono vietati i grandi presepi.\\nI presepi privati e domestici diventarono un modo importante per mantenere vive la religione e la tradizione e ne fanno una delle pi\u00f9 antiche fiere di Santon della Provenza.\\nL'evento riunisce molte delle pi\u00f9 antiche famiglie di presepisti e permette a chi \u00e8 interessato di acquistare tutte le variet\u00e0 di Santon, dai pi\u00f9 rari a pi\u00f9 originali, nonch\u00e9 presepi realizzati in modo artigianale, in cartone, sughero o carta incollata.\"}\" data-sheets-userformat=\"{\"2\":13249,\"3\":{\"1\":0},\"9\":1,\"10\":1,\"11\":4,\"12\":0,\"15\":\"Arial\",\"16\":11}\">The <strong>March\u00e9 de No\u00ebl<\/strong> takes place at the <strong>Old Port<\/strong> and features more than 80 wooden chalets. These structures offer Christmas decorations, games, toys, gift ideas and traditional Marseille products.<br \/>An opportunity not to be missed is the chance to visit Santa Claus in his chalet and capture the moment with a photo.<br \/>The market opens every year on the penultimate Sunday in November and lasts until early January. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Christmas<\/strong> in <strong>Marseille<\/strong> offers another great event for visitors. At the same time as the market, the <strong>Santons Fair<\/strong> takes place.
