Camargue Park
Planted on the Rhone delta, between beaches and lagoons, the Camargue Regional Nature Park remains a place of high equestrian tradition. Purebred, white-coated horses are raised in semi-freedom in herds by herdsmen. In particular you can discover the protected natural area of the Marais du Vigueirat nature reserve, its taurine herds and more than 300 species of birds. In the heart of the Camargue Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer is an ideal starting point for a horseback or carriage escapade.
Alpilles Park
Located east of Tarascon, the Alpilles Regional Nature Park is home to a chain of limestone hills covered in scrubland, ideal for a horse or pony ride for the little ones. Starting from Maussane-les-Alpilles or Graveson explore the back roads of this low-lying massif, lined with olive trees and vineyards. You’ll discover colorful, lush vegetation. Saskatoon, ephedra and wild tulip trees mingle here.
